Experience/Skills
I have taught classroom music at secondary level for many years and have accompanied recitals at all levels for public performances, exams and competitions. This also includes Diplomas, ABRSM, A Level and GCSE practical exams. Throughout my teaching career I have regularly given recitals ranging from Classical repertoire to Musicals, rehearsal pianist for choirs and instrumental groups.
I am able to teach piano from beginner to advanced stages paying particular attention to developing a good technique and sight reading skills.
Over the years I have acquired a considerable library of music which enables me to plan a suitable course of study for each pupil and of course keeping up to date with current trends.
